Katrina Lai

Katrina is highly experienced strategy advisor and board director. As Director of Strategy at Telstra and consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, she led and implemented business strategies in product and business development, marketing, customer experience and business improvement. She also has hands-on experience managing major transformation programs including Telstra’s call centre transformation encompassing over 15,000 customer service consultants. She has worked closely with State and Commonwealth government agencies on key strategy and organisational improvement projects

Katrina currently serves on three Victorian government boards in the education, water and transport sectors. She has over 8 years of experience chairing audit and risk management committees. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and Harvard’s cybersecurity management course

Katrina has an MBA and law degree and has worked as a corporate lawyer
